Our natural sunscreen formulas are thicker than your typical, chemically formulated sunscreen. A little bit goes a long way! Apply 20 minutes prior to sun exposure for best results. Start with a pea to dime size amount. Dab exposed areas with the sunscreen. Gently wipe sunscreen onto the skin in a paint brush motion along the grains of your hair. Lotion will blend evenly and nicely with little white residue. Hawaiian Sol SPF will sit on top of the skin rather than absorb.
